It’s a beautiful rainy day in our Northern California neighborhood. This makes us all very happy. The grass is growing, the lakes are filling up, which makes the Honkers happy and it is snowing in the mountains which makes the skiers happy. Also, rain makes me want to bake. That makes me happy. Cookies, Rum Cakes, and little loaves of all different kinds of bread. Alas, I also eat these things. But that is an area which I choose to ignore for now. When I am not baking and I am through with my chores of the day am looking for an interesting Match 3 to play.
Guess what? I found a great one. It’s called Trio: The Great Settlement.
At first glance you might think this game is just for kids. Think again. It is soo addictive. Here’s the deal. You have these really cute orbs called Orbics. Your goal is to free them from their underground prison and build a new settlement for them. The more gold coins you earn the more you build. Also you get to know the Orbics as you go along. These little flags come up telling you they want to talk to you. You also win trophies for your game play and of course each level is harder than the last. You have to stack up these falling boxes in threes. They fall down from 2 orbics operating a pulley. You have to play it to really appreciate it. As I said it is really addictive. I was sorry when the trial was over. I wanted more. So I am going to buy it so I can play s long as I like.
