Midnight Mysteries: Witches of Abraham seemed a little strange to me. I mean, what does Abraham Lincoln have to do with witches? I think I remember that Mary Lincoln thought she saw ghosts in the White House and held séances... but witches??
Maybe Amy was right when she said in her review she thought that this was jumping on the whole Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter theme, but either way, just a little bizarre overall.
Now, I've never played the other Midnight Mystery games, but it seems to me the storylines of those games made more sense.
Nathanial Hawthorne and the Salem Witch Trials, (he was born in Salem and one of his ancestors was a judge at the famous trials), Houdini and his wife, (famous story of Houdini being obsessed with the afterlife), and Mark Twain and the controversy over Shakespeare... all these things are based on historical truths... and while there was a Knights of the Golden Circle... I can't find anything that connects them to witches... weird.
