Can you control the bottom bar?

03/14/2011 		It seems that in all games like this you can control the bottom bar to keep the ball from falling through so that you can bounce the ball back up.
Maybe this game is different.
It seems random whether the bar will bounce the ball up.
Am I missing something here?
