The Treasures of Mystery Island: The Ghost Ship was an absolute treat for me to play this week. I was a little concerned about it being too creepy, as some of these Hidden Object games tend to be; but the game was completely devoid of anything scary (unless you consider a lack of real people and ghosts just hanging around wanting a little present creepy).
The game is a fragmented hidden object game, which is a plus in my book. I like my games more realistic and picking up a bunch of junk just seems silly to me. Everything you pick needs to be used and usually in a different location. The puzzles are challenging but not impossible. The graphics are beautiful and clear. There is a lot of walking around, but the game provides a great little map that shows you the areas where there are still things to do.
The story actually made sense and I cared enough to want to figure out what was happening. The game has over 56 scenes, multiple puzzles, takes many hours to play, and requires you to actually think rather than just have eagle eyes.
Can you tell that I really, really like this game? The Treasures of Mystery Island The Ghost Ship walkthrough provided here should help you out of any jam you may get into. Use it as much or as little as you need to. Happy ghost hunting!
