Good news! Mystery Trackers: Black Isle is as great a game as the last two Mystery Trackers games. I find this series challenging to the extreme, and I sincerely hope there will be more of these mysteries. Sometimes series, of any type, become a bit lame and boring after a while, but, thankfully, this is not the case in Mystery Trackers: Black Isle.
We, as the Mystery Tracker, travel to the Black Isle to find out what happened to the missing people, and, of course, to discover who is behind their disappearances. When you get to the island, you witness another disappearance and/or kidnapping. The method is a shock as it seems to be by supernatural means!
Figuring out where to search and finding the items you need to progress in the game can be a challenge and it really shows a lot of imagination on the part of the creators.
There is considerable back and forth from point A to point B, C, D, etc. to find the objects you need to complete your search for the masked villain, which is good because it keeps a fun game from being too short. There is also a feature that I do not remember from the first and second games. You now need to add items in your inventory to items in your hidden object scene to complete the needed hidden object!
The hidden object scenes are not exceptionally hard, but I did have to use a hint button now and then to find a really tough object. I enjoyed the puzzles, but, again, I had to hit the skip button on some of them.
I am looking forward to being able to play Mystery Trackers: Black Isle all the way through, and I think you will find it very entertaining.
