Legends of Solitaire: The Lost Cards incorporates a delightful spin on your classic solitaire gaming with a fun medieval fantasy theme. When the house of cards goes missing in the Solitaire Kingdom, it's up to you to find the lost cards and put evil in its place.
As I'm sure many parents can probably relate… at the end of the day, I am pretty tired. Both mentally and physically. The kids are in bed, I have caught up with all of my household chores, said hello to a few friends on Facebook, and now I need something to help me unwind before I go to bed.
I am way too tired to do anything really complicated, so, sometimes I just start up a game of standard solitaire, play a few rounds, and call it a night. However, the basic solitaire is so boring that you can only play a couple of games before you're done.

Now, I am not your regular gamer. I don’t know much about the latest game releases. But, when I saw that there were some games that had different twists on solitaire, I was pretty intrigued.
While perusing the list of card games, I came across Legends of Solitaire: The Lost Card. It has a medieval fantasy theme, and there was an objective aside from the basic solitaire rules, so I decided to give it a shot.

The first thing I noticed was that there were easy-to-understand instructions and various levels. These ranged from tutorial, where they interactively teach you how to play the game, to beginner, intermediate, and advanced, where you are actually on your own.
Once I started, I noticed several other things that I really liked about Legends of Solitaire: The Lost Card. First of all, the game is very intuitive and easy to play. I probably spent two minutes in the tutorial, and then went on to play the beginner level.
The second thing I noticed was that the game combines the elements of solitaire with a race against the clock format. That’s a simple element, but it really gets your competitive juices flowing, and it makes the game much more fun to play. The third thing was that I found the music to be very soothing and relaxing.

Now, there were a couple of things I was not crazy about. Some of the graphics were a little creepy. They have a skeleton that pops up and takes away some of your power (points). Another thing that is a little frustrating is that the game allows you to increase your power by purchasing special objects with your accumulated points, however, depending on how you look at it, either the points accumulate too slowly or the shop is too expensive for you to really do anything.
Overall, I really enjoyed Legends of Solitaire : The Lost Cards. I mentioned that I was looking for a game that would help me unwind at the end of the day, something that was challenging without being too complex. This is a solitaire game that fits the bill. In fact, I probably stayed up a little too late the first night I played it…
