I managed to squeeze in another game guide before I pack up and head to PA for a week to visit my cousins. Cross your fingers the storms out there go away so I'm not cooped up inside all week with my younger cousins…
My volunteer work at Homeboys is so rewarding - it feels great to know you might be helping to change someone's life. I really think that all large cities should incorporate this type of program; maybe then we could make a change in today's youth before it's too late. While the internship at LA Times is interesting, it's not quite as rewarding. But then again, I don't actually get to write articles for print, I'm more of a assistant but it's still interesting to see what goes on behind the scenes. But enough about me and on to the game guides!
When I saw the release of Hidden Expedition: Amazon, I just had to write a guide for it. This is the third game in the series and as always, features spectacular graphics, great game play, and excellent storyline. The puzzles are challenging but if you find them too difficult, that's why I wrote a game guide! In this installment you play the part of a great adventurer who is trying to find a missing professor and the lost Beetle (not Beatles, heehaw) Temple. Sounds a bit bizarre, perhaps, but makes for a great story with a very humorous Professor and a great excuse to immerse you the sights and sounds of... the Amazon!
You probably won't hear from me for a few weeks but I promise to find some time to bring you another guide when I get back. There is some promising new HOG coming out soon that I'll be watching closely. If you have any games you'd like to see guides for, don't hesitate to a-mail us and ask - we'll do our best to fulfill your gaming needs!
Wishing everyone from the United States a Happy 4th! Be safe!
