Hey gamers! I'm here to bring you another new guide. This time, the game is Dark Parables: The Exiled Prince (Collector's Edition). This is the second in the Dark Parables series, the first being Briar Rose. You do not need to have played Briar Rose to play this game.
So, why did I write a guide for a game with a guide already built into it? When I bought the game, I didn't even think about that. I just wanted to play it! I wrote the guide so it will reflect the non-collector’s edition. When that version is released, you'll have a guide ready and waiting!
About the game, I loved it! The storyline is very intriguing, with its slightly twisted fairy tale theme and tons of fairy tale references thrown in all over the place. The graphics are beautiful and I felt very immersed in the story. This is a pretty long game, but all the same I was disappointed when it ended. There is no shortage of hidden object areas to complete. I would rate them moderately hard. The puzzles are easy to moderately hard, but you can skip them if you get too frustrated. Some of the puzzles I've supplied screenshots and others videos. The actual game play is very logical in terms of where to go next and what you need to accomplish. I can't comment on the ambience this time, because they put the ambience and music together and I always turn off the music so I can listen to my own. I really had a lot of fun playing this game and yes, there will be a third one! I won't comment more on that, you'll find out what it's about when you reach the end. I highly recommend this game and give it two thumbs up!
