I recently went on a riff about game developers mining fairy tales for plotlines and theming ideas. And, during my dis session, I sort of suggested they might try some originality on for size. Well, I take it all back if Skywind Games twists tales and comes up with stories like Cruel Games: Red Riding Hood.
In this version, the big, bad wolf takes the form of a homicidal maniac nicknamed The Storyteller. He has kidnapped Red Riding Hood’s fiancé and leads her on a merry chase to save him by solving hidden object areas and mini games.
But don’t expect forest and grandmas and baskets of goodies. This little exercise in sociopathy could only resemble the well-known tale if the version you know involved Red working as a stripper in the red light district. The game has more than its share of seedy motels, biker bards, and deserted docks.
Because this is a walk on the very wild side, you’ll need someone to guide you through the underbelly of society. That’s where we come in.
Cruel Games: Red Riding Hood Walkthrough will hook you up with the strategies and solutions you need to beat the big, bad wolf at his own game. Let us guide you through the alleyways and darkened corners with our full game details and marked screenshots from actual game play.
