This will be a really exciting month for me and my little dog LuLu! Soon, we will be packing up and moving to the great Southwest. Deserts, mountains, monsoons, and sunsets to die for! We have many friends there too, and I just can’t wait to see them all. It will be a brand new start for the two of us, and I can hardly contain my excitement!
With all the excitement, it seemed an appropriate time to review the Match 3 game Alice and The Magic Gardens since the young girl, Alice, also got a new start in her life.
After working as a servant in the King’s castle, and daydreaming about what it would be like to have her own garden one day, Alice is whisked away by a fairy who needs Alice’s help. Apparently an evil sorceress has diminished the fairies’ fruit supply, and they need Alice’s help to grow more fruit and save the fairies.
As far as gameplay goes, you slide tiles of the same color together to reveal all different kinds of brightly colored fruit. The graphics are pretty and very good in this game. You must get through all kinds of obstacles including spiders, birds, and worms that want to eat your fruit! There are also bonuses and power-ups to help you along the way.
With the bright graphics and charming story, Alice and the Magic Gardens is a wonderful game to play with your children and grandchildren. After a while, it does get a little boring for adults and the challenges aren’t that great, but I think that’s what makes it perfect for little ones to get involved.
